Spencer is joint owner and the driving force behind Baytex. He joined the firm as Managing Director in 1976 and bought into the company in 1991.  Spencer has a strong background in engineering and design. Baytex owes much to Spencer’s exceptional creative flair, innovative nature and wealth of experience. Spencer directs the company’s business affairs, leads the company and inspires customers with innovative design concepts. He was also the founder of the Outdoor Fabric Products Association of New Zealand (OFPANZ), which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Co-owner, Wendy Tankard, joined Baytex in 1985 and became a shareholder in 1991. Her early experience in the Baytex office and at trade shows gives her a thorough understanding of the company she manages. Wendy takes pride in steering the company’s strategic direction, keeping its administration in good order and managing its human resources. Wendy is also an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the New Zealand export community.

Andrew joined Baytex in 2002. He leads the product design team and manages its custom fabrication projects. With clients in New Zealand, Australia, Korea, UK, USA, Europe and the Pacific Islands, Andrew and his team have gained an international reputation. Stunning design, careful engineering, quality workmanship and dedicated project management all contribute to their world class performance.

The backbone of the Baytex sales team, Trevor has over 22 years experience at  Baytex. Prior to joining the sales team Trevor had been the Production Manager and Logistics Manager for the company. Trevor now travels nationally and internationally for Baytex, sharing his exceptional product knowledge with clients and providing the very highest level of support and service to his worldwide customer base.
